about lbf

love bug foundation inc. is a non-profit organization that provides pet ownership assistance programs to senior citizens, disabled persons, and veterans experiencing financial hardship that reside in Clayton County and Fayette County in the State of Georgia. We are a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization.

Our organization was founded in light of financial hardship that many pet owners are facing resulting in the surrendering or desertion of a dog or cat because he/she is no longer able to care for them. We believe that something as simple as pet food should not be the deciding factor on whether or not a pet remains a part of the family.

Our current assistance program is our Pet Food Assistance Program that provides a one month supply of food for up to two companion pets per household. Additional assistance programs will be launched at a future date.
